REPORT ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD AND NON-FOOD ITEMS TO FLOOD VICTIMS OF LAKE TANGANYIKA AND NYANGARA LAGOON / KILOMONI CAMP BY GREAT HARVEST INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES.

During this year 2021 (since January until now), the waters of Lake TANGANYIKA and NYANGARA lagoon rose in an unusual way and carrying all the dwelling houses in its passage.
Several people were left homeless and crammed into camps of the victims in kilomoni and KASENGA.
- THE GHIM COMES TO HELP THE VICTIMS
” Great harvest International Ministries” being a Christian organization with an evangelical and philatropic vocation, carries out gospel in that Camp as usual and our observation was bitter because the people have been suffering for a long time. We had compassion to our brothers and sisters, and GHIM decided to raise funds in order to help the victims for a period of three months with some food (June, July and August).
It should also be noted that several children, and pregnant women are in that camp without support.
- DISTRIBUTION
June, the distribution took place, last Saturday, June 19, 2021 at kilomoni camp.
320 people grouped in 64 households benefited each 5kgs of corn flour, 4kgs of rice, 4kgs of beans, 1.5kgs of salt, 1.5l of oil, and 5 pieces of soap per household. ( See photos and videos )
